Aranea Highwind will ICly be contacting characters and offering them jobs based off the assumption she will receive 30% of the cut. Due to the change in settings, Aranea has waved her fee and is allowing people to keep the full cut of the payment to help them get on their feet.

JOB #1 — DRAGON RESCUE

With the infection in Wyver, a local dragon-nursery is in need of workers to help tend for sick dragons. They will need baths, feedings, and even surgery in some cases. Will you answer the call and provide the support Wyver needs in this trying time?

OUTCOMES:
- The nursery will pay you 100 silver for a day's work.

JOB #2 — REDEMPTION FOR FAMILY

An elderly woman named Vetmir has somehow got in contact with Highwind Hire, hoping to find her son's killer. Her son was murdered weeks ago by a former lover. The woman is hiding in The Old City, Alora, is often seen among the trading market near the evening making a living a drug trader.

OUTCOMES:
- Vetmir promises 140 silver with delivery of a locket her son gave Alora.
- Sparing Alora's life will earn you her side of the story, where she had to defend herself after a drunken encounter with Vetmir's son. This earns you 40 silver in appreciation and the locket, which nets you Vetmir's 140 silver if delivered back for a total of 180 silver.

JOB #3 — BONES FOR A CURE

Criny, a medicine woman is looking for a large supply of Puox bones from their camouflaged exterior. This crucial parts are needed to craft some potions to help relieve aches for the sick. While definitely not the cure, Puox is needing someone to travel to Murkwell Hollow and someone to help assist in potion making.

OUTCOMES:
- Anyone who brings her 6 bonespurs from Puox will receive 170 silver.
- People who help in potion making will receive 30 silver per potion with a maximum of 6 potions a day.

JOB #4 — SEARCH & RESCUE

Jillam, a street vendor, has not seen their fruit supplier in a few days. Worried they were lost in The Undergrowth, they are enlisting a search and rescue. Traveling to the Undergrowth will prove difficult — gather a small party for back up.

The vendor cart is abandoned with a broken axis, the fruit still good but the driver missing. Exploring further will allow the players to rescue Qun from a man-eating plant.

OUTCOMES:
- Anyone who participates in the search and rescue will receive 200 silver.
- Players can attempt repair the carriage and return the fruit back for cut of the food for free.
- Players who explore for the vendor will be able to fight a large man-eating plant similar to a venus flytrap with sentient vines. If Qun is rescued, you will receive an additional 100 silver.

[ lance makes a face, squashing down the urge to be contrary, because that's what they've been aiming for all along?? and yet he still feels the need to argue, because keith's a buttface... his buttface... ]

[Why...just because he's a flight risk now...he's giving Lance that kinda look before stepping forward to ascend their stairs first...

And once he's at the top, he's waiting with an extended hand; usual procedure between them two.]

Thanks. [ it's mumbled out of habit as he takes the proffered hand, hoisting himself up into their little tree sanctuary. ]

You know if we stay here for long, we're gonna build up real good upper body muscles. [ he'd always wanted a treehouse when he was younger. he wonders if young lance would have still been all for it if he know how much work it took to get into every time. ]

[It's a cool thing, even though it takes a lot of energy and effort to actually get...inside.

Have you been thinking about going back?

[To Olympia, of course. The thought hadn't crossed his mind much, not after properly settling and such. Their previous home holds some fond memories, but the place itself...

He's less wary of Wyver.]

[ lance lingers by the ladder, eyeing keith curiously. in contrast, lance just sort of assumed it would be the logical next step, once things settled again. ]

I dunno I just kind of assumed... You know, it's where we'd all go back?

[Like, maybe once or twice in the beginning, but they both kinda...accidentally settled here, sorta?]

Have you talked about it with Allura?

I haven't really talked about it with anybody, [ he admits. ] I kinda just thought it was what we were all supposed to do.

[ he didn't think wyver would be so accepting that they could continue to stay, after all, yet here they are...

he looks to keith, leaning against a nearby table. ]

it's times like these lance wishes they had just stayed in that dang lagoon like keith originally wanted... smh. ]

[ fine by him, tbh. he'd been trying to think up of ways to avoid the guard. ]

[Not so much about 'repairing' it, but just, the people -- he seemed happy there.]

[ he's shrugging, moving past keith, avoiding his eye, working to peel off some clothes to get cleaned up. ]

They'll assign someone new who can handle it, and it'll all work out. Everybody wins.

Now's probably a bad time to bring up how much safer Wyver's been in general, despite the dragons and him nearly being eaten by one and him not sharing that tale at all.]

[This is one of those scenarios that don't require immediate explosion, even if he's already kind of made a small scene. He'll stare at Lance for an extra long moment, then start after him.]

but lance seems quite pleased that it's dropped, carrying on with undressing and getting ready for bed... brb getting primped for the sleepytiems. ]

Keith's idea of primping for bed has not changed in his time with Lance. He heads right for their room, changes into pajamers, emerges only to retrieve some vegetables for their pet son to eat and proceeds into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Regardless of whatever Lance may've been up to. Pooping, peeing, touching himself. Alala.]
