Somewhere, in one of his pockets, Yamagi has a fake ID where sports his most neutral expression next to a name he doesn't own and a birth date he doesn't recognize. The names never really stuck, and they started using their identification chips less and less ever since the launch of Nadi's factory, where no tongues stumbled over new names.

It never made him feel like an adult, only a clown.

There's no helping the faint mold stains at the end of the fabric, the mildew itself scrubbed out. For all of Yamagi's overt dissatisfaction, something thumped in his chest, building up in patient, barely contained excitement.
