Warning(s): Nothing at the moment, but I'll add them as things come up. Mephisto and Jae-Ha are in the middle of some 18+ shenanigans in one thread but that's probably getting cut short.

haru;

one - searching for supplies;
[Haru's up in the Old City today, taking a look at the marketplace. She doesn't seem too perturbed by the state of the Old City itself; sure, it's... definitely got a sort of dangerous feel to it, but she's pretty capable of defending herself if need be.

The axe she's got strapped to her back is something she knows how to use, after all.

That being said, she's not really anticipating a fight - it's more of a precautionary measure. She's calm and polite with the merchants as she looks through their wares, though eventually, she has to stop and ask someone for directions-]

Um, excuse me. [You! Yes, you! Help a girl out.] You don't happen to know where there might be someone selling gardening tools, do you?

[Do they even garden here? Man, she doesn't know. There's plants every which way down in the jungle itself, but they don't really seem organized - it's a very wild feel.

Which has its own charm, of course, but...]

two - foraging for foliage;
[Midway through the month, Haru decides it's about time to get her butt in gear. She's more or less decided that she will be returning to Olympia eventually, but she doesn't want to forget the nice parts of Wyver, either...

So.

She's got a pack full of supplies and a simple sketchpad in hand. You might catch her throughout the city, taking sketches of the various plants that are growing there -

Or you might catch her looking at one or two of them, puzzled.]

Hmm... I wonder if there's some way of harvesting seeds from this?

[If she can, she'd like to grow some of these back in Olympia - though she's not sure they'll take to the climate there.

...eventually, of course, she'll wander to the Undergrowth. She has, at least, stopped to grab her axe, but now she's lingering at the entrance, checking over her supplies.]

Well, no time like the present...

[In she goes!]

three - many hands make light work;
[Haru's spent a decent amount of time in Wyver - but, toward the end of the month, she joins the volunteer efforts to help get Olympia back on its feet. It's only fair, after all - Olympia was kind enough to take them all in when they first arrived, and she can't in good conscience leave them to flounder now.

So. If you're on the road to Olympia at the same time as her, she raises a hand and calls out -]

Hello there!

[Safety in numbers, after all; maybe you can travel together!

On the other hand, if you encounter her once you're both back in Olympia, you can find her basically anywhere in the city - helping move supplies around, working on general cleanup, et cetera, et cetera. She's pretty strong for a girl her age.

Of course, everyone needs to take a break sometime, and she's no exception. Catch her while she's taking a breather and getting a bite to eat, and she might wave you over.]

one - bad decision time;
[So. Uh.

Here's Yona. Here's Yona at Falmi's Ring, watching some of the fights with interest while clutching a few coins in one hand. Gambling probably is not the best habit for a princess to get into, but she's heard that if you get good at it, it can be a way of making money quickly. And since she doesn't have a steady job yet - she's mainly been doing odd job around Wyver for some coin - this seems as good an option as any.

For now, she's observing the fights. Her eyes are fixed on a slender man currently in the ring, ducking and weaving to avoid his much brawnier opponents' moves. He's quick on his feet and his strategy seems to be wearing his opponent down.]

Hmm... He's doing pretty well...

[Maybe she'll bet on him in the next fight.]

two - practice makes perfect;
[Thunk.

What's that sound? Well, that's the sound of Yona hurling small throwing knives (which she, uh, "borrowed" from Jae-Ha, sorry Jae-Ha) at a tree trunk. But it's better than the alternative! The sound means she's hitting her target and not, you know, missing and nearly throwing a sharp object at your face.]

Hah! I'm getting better at this.

[She's run out... looking proud of herself, she hurries over to pull the knives from the tree and heads back to the line she's drawn in the dirt for herself. Time to get back to work... Oh, hey, there's a person.]

Oh, sorry! Was I bothering you?

Oh, oops!

[Looks like she missed. Maybe you're an unfortunate passerby that is now going to have to dodge the knife? Maybe you got hit. Who knows.]

three - fangirl mode, activate;
[By now, Yona's a pretty common face at the stables, especially now that the week of the full moon has passed, the dragons are back where they're supposed to be, and they're not trying to... you know, eat them.

Today, she's hanging around and peering at them when she gets the chance.]

They're so beautiful...! I wish I could ride one.

[But, uh, she's broke. Alas.

Alternatively, if you catch her in the West, you may see her watching some of the dancers with interest.

...later in the night, you might catch her in a secluded part of town, trying to mimic the moves on her own. She's not quite ready to join in the dancing herself, but she would like to learn!

She's a little unsteady on her feet, though. It's a lot of twirling and jumping.

Heck, she might even stumble out and smack into you if you're not careful.]

Dunno about friend. I think he just puts up with me 'cuz I clean when he's not around.

[And because Ryuji is Haru's friend and Shinji seems like he actually gives a shit about Haru. Ryuji wants to think Shinji is his friend, but the guy is so prickly, he has no real clue how he thinks.]

They got a longer reach than we do and it's not like we're gonna use any electricity or special attacks, right? It's just to catch her.

That's not true at all. Aragaki-kun isn't the type to "put up" with someone he doesn't like.

[Or so she thinks, anyway.

And besides, he and Ryuji had been living together even before he found out he was Haru's friend... although that arrangement hadn't been without its own ups and downs even back then.]

Mm, you have a point. All right... in that case, let's give it a try.

Well, he can't kick me out until I fix his door, so there's that at least.

[It's halfway fixed, but then they got kicked out to Wyver sooo...

He nods though, now that they have a plan and grins at Manju, punching his fist into his open hand. That dog has no idea what's coming for it. Even as she slobbers all over the hat and socks and seems like she might know and just not give a crap.]

Let's do this.

One? Two. THREE.

[In a burst of power, his clothes go from loungewear to Phantom chic and Captain Kidd appears behind him, somewhat cramped within the house's confines but still ready to go.]

[this is like ash, misty, and the bicycle, isn't it...

But all right HERE THEY GO. It's time for some questionable decision making, and on the count of three, Haru focuses - her clothing shifts into her Phantom Thief garb, and a moment later, Milady manifests just behind her, skirts swishing as she raises her fan to cover what would likely be a smirk if she had a face.

Or, you know, a head at all.

The small house is quickly becoming more and more cramped, and Manju watches the two new arrivals with alarm before letting out a shrill bark and darting forward as if to try and chase the "phantoms" away from her two humans.]

Captain Kidd doesn't seem all that alarmed by the tiny dog darting forward and Ryuji pushes the mask back off his face just to reassure Manju that he and Haru didn't suddenly vanish into the darkness or something.

He reaches down, palms up.]

C'mere you!

[Unfortunately, when Ryuji moves, so does Captain Kidd and the skeleton pirate with a gun for a hand is also reaching out for Manju. The dog screeches to a halt and drops the things in her mouth, but starts barking up a storm instead. DANGER, HUMANS! DANGER!!]

[ shinji knows something is wrong even before opening the door. there's a familiar flash of light that usually doesn't mean anything good. after all, personas aren't summoned unless the users are in battle; and when he spots the shape of ryuuji's persona through the window, shinji assumes the worst.

he drops the groceries by the door and kicks it open, hand already on the trigger of his evoker. the sight that greets him is his two roommates in their full thief garbs, personas barely fitting into the tiny livingroom. he doesn't even see the puppy until he can focus enough to hear her bark.

looking around widly yields no sight of an enemy. still, shinji doesn't drop his guard when he looks over to ryuji and haru, incredulous. ]

What the hell's going on?!

[With Ryuji going for the dog, Haru goes for the beanie and the socks she let fall in order to bark at their Personas. Her fingers curl around them just as the thud of Shinji's foot slamming the door open rings out.

They probably make quite the sight. Haru disengages her persona with a slightly sheepish expression and Milady vanishes; Manju's barking quiets for a moment before she refocuses it on Captain Kidd.

And then growls.

And then darts for Shinji so that she can hide behind his ankles.]

...ah... Aragaki-kun. [AWKWARD.] We were... ["Using our Personas to get some pieces of clothing back from your dog" sounds like an over-the-top explanation, but she holds up the socks and the beanie anyway.] ...attempting to get these back from her.

[So this looks bad. Like, there's no universe wherein two kids engaging their personas while trapped in a small house with their roommate's dog barking at them doesn't look bad. It just gets worse when the door comes flying in, banging against the wall, and said roommate rushes in with his damn gun out like he's a big damn hero.

Ryuji jumps and turns as the dog runs for her owner, but doesn't have the presence of mind to disengage like Haru has. Captain Kidd turns, too, the skeleton's hat squished up against the ceiling and his ship barely making it past the walls.

At least Ryuji has his mask up and not on his face?]

...Uh...welcome home?

[ manju's crowding his leg and is energetic enough that shinji is sort of reassured that she's not hurt or anything. still, he scoops her up and gives the wriggling puppy a once-over to really make sure she's fine. then it's back to haru and ryuji, his frown only deepening. ]

With your personas?

[ the idea is just. so ridiculous? that he has a hard time following up with the thought. there's a vague bite mark on his beanie that haru is holding up. it might be a little frayed. and honestly he couldn't care less about ryuji's sock. ]

... Put that away, Sakamoto. What the hell.

[They are getting hardcore judged and Haru can feel it.]

Well, it seemed the simplest way to crowd the room enough that Manju couldn't run out of our reach...

[Which is basically admitting that the puppy already did that multiple times. Be proud, Shinji, your little ball of fluff is quick on her feet.]

We were concerned she might swallow some of the socks and get sick. It seemed prudent to try and stop her as quickly as possible.

[Captain disappears and along with it, Ryuji's Thief outfit, leaving him in his regular clothes and looking sheepish.]

Hey, we were tryin' to save your dog from choking on stuff she ain't supposed to be playing with anyway.

[Also why just the socks!! She could have swallowed the beanie, too... Ryuji sighs and kicks one foot against the floor.]

And it worked. She didn't get away and she's not eating your hat anymore either.

[ manju, the little devil, barks innocently and blinks up at shinji as he attempts to glare down at her, like she did nothing wrong. technically she didn't do anything wrong, just didn't know better. or maybe shinji is just making excuses for her because he's weak. ]

A'right. I get that puppies do dumb shit. [ there might be a hint of something apologetic on his face re: ryuji's sock... but it's never voiced. ] But isn't callin' your personas way overkill?

[ the answer would be yes, btw.

manju continues to wiggle in shinji's hold. and he looks at her once more. ]

I think she just needs a walk. I'll take her out. And-- uh. [ a beat, and a glance at the door he just kicked down... ] I'll fix that when I get back.

[shinji is definitely weak, but honestly, who's not weak to puppydog eyes?]

...perhaps a little... but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

[of course, their perception of that was probably heavily colored by the fact that they had already tried and failed to catch manju without them, but haru doesn't want to admit that... he might never leave them alone with the puppy again.

her gaze wanders to the door, and she can't help but chuckle a little.]

Ryuji-kun and I can help work on it. You only kicked it down because of the commotion we were making, right...?

[Everyone is weak to puppydog eyes, even Ryuji who is currently staring at his very damp socks. Gross.]

It's not like we were gonna attack her with them...

[But even he sounds apologetic about it. It was a desperate attempt that worked, even if it was...well....poorly thought out on his part.]

And yeah, I just finished fixin' your door, so this shouldn't be a problem. [And see, Aragaki? He isn't even giving any shit over breaking down a door. LEARN FROM HIS GRACIOUS EXAMPLE.]

But now that we've both done it, I guess it's your turn next, Haru. Whose door is gonna suffer your blow, huh?
