[Though he doesn't look at Allen directly, he's still focused on his expression from the corner of his eyes, taking in his reactions -- and when they occur. Did he realize what he was implying, then...? Perhaps he thought it best not to push the issue. A wise choice, really.]

...my, your demons might just be even worse than ours.

[But also not very comparable. The way he says it, a weapon-- they sound artificial. Something that someone or something goes out of their way to create. And though there are certainly cases of humans deliberately summoning foul and evil demons -- and even cases of demons who've been "created" in some manner -- for the most part, they simply exist.]

But you know, my kind didn't come to be called demons for no reason. We've been called many things in the past-- and some are even still revered as gods in their own right.

[He pulls back one of his arms as Allen ties off the makeshift bandages, moving it slowly to test how well it holds together.]

And although there are many who stand beside humanity and co-exist peacefully, there are many, many more who lack the necessary understanding to make such a choice. Those who exist more as a force of nature than a singular, sentient being... where I come from, we're just as much a part of the natural order of things as humans.

Were you to ask an exorcist himself, I'm certain he too would say he only fights to protect his own. But regardless of my own allegiance, given what I am-- naturally, my own views on the matter are a bit biased.
