Who: Jeanne d'Arc Alter (
lahaine) & Sidurgu Orl (
abyssalflame)
What: Revenge? But really, Jeanne Alter made a friend but won't admit it.
When: December, after their little rendezvous.
Where: Wyver.
Warning(s): Violence, Language, ....? Who knows...but yes.
[ Trying to process just what had transpired between her and that idiot, Sidurgu or Sid as he elected, was as confusing as it was irritating. Never in her life had she been overcome with any emotion such as that, and while it did little to quell that fire of rage within her, it elicited an embarrassed feeling whenever she looked back on it. Something that made her serious mindset become flustered and girlish, and in of itself that bothered her.
Having no other ideas, yet not having the temerity to speak with Rin about it, she felt it apt to take matters into her own hands. As she most commonly did. She was demanding of answers, those she would get one way or another, likely by force when her "charisma" failed her.
Goading that idiot into meeting at a specified location was the easy part. A few well placed quips via network communications and another arranged meeting, only this time she was determined to not let it go like last time...or the time prior. This time there would be a clear winner, the score was to be settled. ]
Christ...just where is that brute, don't tell me he got lost... [ She muttered under her breath, as not to give away her own concealed position. ]

So he hauls himself to the designated meeting place, in full armor once more despite the weather making it impractical. If it's a fight she wants, fine -- at least this time, he'll be ready, and he'll know what she has up her sleeve to some extent.]
...Tch. Not even here yet. Of course not.
[Or perhaps she's just taking her sweet time with it. He leans against a wall and crosses his arms, looking down at the ground in thought. There's something he must be fundamentally missing about this "Avenger" business, because he still can't wrap his head around it, but it could be what's driving her behavior, too. Revenge... is that really what she wants?]

La Pucelle had already been drawn, so that the sound of her removing it from its sheath would not be heard, but unlike a true fight, she was not using the blade in this situation. Rising like some sort of phantom from her crouched position overhead, she would leap over the railing, ready to pounce onto the much larger Au Ra male. The hilt of her sword was aimed for the back of his head, ready to knock him out upon impact.
Hopefully his reaction time was poor enough to accomplish this, because if not, it would make for a third most embarrassing situation.
If she succeeded, well, she had her plans. ]

He's still dimly conscious, though, as evidenced by the curling of his fingers, but not enough to pick himself up or resist whatever she's intending to do with him.]

No apology would be issued for that, it was hard to tell if she was sorry or if it brought her some satisfaction.
If he was completely out, she would climb off of him and rise to her feet, sheathing her blade. It had to be odd when her 5'2" frame reached down to grasp his shoulders. She would then lift and begin to drag him towards the house where she was staying. Oddly enough, or really not for a heroic spirit, her strength was great enough that she could do such a thing. Of course, this happened not without securing his arms and legs with chains. Not rope like any normal person.
All that was left now, was to wait for him to awaken, perhaps she would have to douse him in water for that. ]
no subject
So he curses again, with more emphasis this time.]
Bloody-- What the hells is this?
[His eyes focus slower than the rest of him does, and he finally notices Jeanne watching him. He lets go of a huff.]
You. Explain.
no subject
Christ, it is about time you woke up.[ Her scowl remained as she crossed her arms over her chest. ] What does it look like? I didn't hit you that hard. Now, shut up, I am the one getting the answers here.
no subject
I can't answer you if you tell me to shut up, fool.
[All in all, he looks patently unamused as he tugs again on the link. Of all the bullshite ideas, why chains?]
Mayhap I just won't answer you in the first place. Gods know what you have left to get answers about, anyway.
no subject
If you don't answer then I'll kill you. [ That was probably an empty threat. ] If you want to be released you will answer me.
To start with, with what happened before...with us... have you told anyone about it?
no subject
Who do you expect me to have told? Who do you think is even going to give a damn in the first place?!
[Though pulling on the chain seems futile, it doesn't stop Sid from continuing to put pressure on them as if hopeful they'll slip by some miracle. Of all the asinine questions...]
Why? Don't tell me you're humiliated over it.
no subject
Hahahaha! [ She had no answer to any of these questions. Instead she just continued on the verbal offensive. ]
You aren't humiliated? Why? Why did you even engage in such an act in the first place? And don't lie to me, or I will char your scales off!
no subject
It's less the fact she's being honest than the fact the prompt has brought him to a realization. For a precious second, he doesn't move or even breathe; then his eyes darken a tinge and turn away, his lips setting together in a straight line.]
I don't know.
[It's a pathetic answer, but it's the truth. He has no idea, because it isn't like him at all, and perhaps it's just that whatever pheromone was permeating the air that day was altering his thoughts, but that doesn't change the fact it happened anyway.]
If you're that up in arms about it, you should've bloody told me to stop.
no subject
A moue lined her features as she abruptly brought her foot to the edge of his chair, between his legs, as long as he was paying attention enough to not get knocked in the groin. ] Don't you turn this on me, pervert. You could have very well stopped too. Why didn't you?
[ Granted, they both knew the answer, but she simply seemed to not accept it as truth. Call her bullheaded, but she seemed to be looking for more than an explanation than "it happened." ]
no subject
Do you think I normally go around doing that to people?! It was-- the blasted moon festival, whatever you want to call it. Now get your damned foot away from there!
[It seems he's not terribly inclined to budge the way she wants on this one, either.]
no subject
How should I know what goes on in that lizard brain of yours. [ A disgusted look as she pointed at his forehead to illustrate her point. ]
Ufufufu, does this bother you? [ Much like a child, to give her any sort of indication that something upset you, was only going to make her do it more. Clearly this was the situation now. Further exemplified by the fact that he briefly seemed to express something akin to humiliation, fleeting as it was. ]
What's with that face?
no subject
Piss off. You know perfectly well why it bothers me.
no subject
Christ, people like you are just the absolute worst. Unable to tell the truth even if their life depended on it, disgusting. [ Wow, almost like looking in a mirror...]
Tch, so what are you going to do now? Sit there and hope some external force releases you from the chair? Hahahahaha! I think if you honestly think that, I might really lose it! I might just die from laughter! Really, tell me... do you want out of the chair?
no subject
I seem to recall you said you were going to kill me. Is it time for me to call your bluff, then?
no subject
Geh, shut up you myopic flea-infested display of indecency. [ A pause. ] Or do I need to use words your puny, violent brain understands?
[ It seemed more rhetorical, as she paced before his seated position, eventually breaking the silence with a stern glare at him. ] Jeanne rule number one! [ A swift kick was delivered to the legs of the chair, toppling it over to the side. ] Jeanne gets to do whatever she wants one time.
[ If you thought about it...did she just give her true name to him? It might not be a good idea to point that out. ]
no subject
I've been called worse.
[The implication that he's some sort of savage earns her a very dirty look, though, even if he says that like it's nothing. Be they Garlean or Ishgardian, it's not a pleasant insult when accompanied with torture... like this is shaping up to be.]
Tell me, what the hell is the point of all this? As far as I can tell, you're wasting my time and your own, trying to squeeze answers out of me for something as inconsequential as that.
no subject
To think something as trivial as a few words would distress you so much. Christ, are you going to do something as disgusting as cry? Don't be such a baby.
[ Kneeling now she would absently yank the chains that were restraining the male, allowing them to tighten and then break. She would then pull them from around his form and toss them to the side before standing. ]
You can leave now, I have better things to do. [ Which was entirely false, but it was always hard to pinpoint what went on in Jeanne's head. ]
no subject
What kind of fickle little...?! Maybe you got the answer you wanted, but now you've left me with more questions than anything!
[He's not pinning her just yet, though, leaving her free to smack his hand away if she so desires. A repeat of last time would just give her reason to never shut up about it... right?]
no subject
[ She seemed to be brushing him off now, as she brought her own hand up to knock his hand from her shoulder. How irritating it must be for him, not understanding or getting any answers.
Was she playing hard to get? Or merely being stubborn? It was near impossible to tell. ]
no subject
[Instead of allowing himself to be carelessly brushed aside, though, Sid goes for what is seemingly an encore of before, shoving her flat against the wall and pinning her there, though he makes no other moves in that direction.]
You were a willing participant yourself, were you not?! You goaded me even when I made as if to hesitate or stop, even when I gave you ample opportunity to tell me off! So then, what was the problem?!
no subject
Christ! Are you really that desperate? [ She should know about curiosity getting the best of her, so it wouldn't be odd to think that someone acted in the same manner.
Even with all these thoughts, and him right there. Even with the fact that she was fairly strong and could probably make a run for it (out of her own house?), she felt cornered. Jaw set, and a faint blush that she had been fairly decent at hiding previously crept to her cheeks. She turned her head away as best she could. ] Because I-I wasn't emotionally ready for that you idiot! [ Jeeze, anything but the full truth with her. ]
no subject
[He repeats what she says in disbelief... and then shakes his head, stepping away from her. All of a sudden, it seems like touching her is the last thing he wants to do.]
Do me a favor and stop making it sound like we're in a relationship. It was-- just something that happened. It didn't mean anything.
[A pause. Realization dawns on Sid's face, a little belatedly.]
...Or is that the problem you're having?
