it's a shopping episode~
Who: pike trickfoot (
trickfoot), vex'ahlia (
moneytwin), keyleth (
zephrah), vax'ildan (
hraefnes), taryon darrington (
taryon)
What: It's your typical D&D shopping episode! At least for the girls and Taryon.
When: Backdated before the gala.
Where: Wyver
Warning(s): none
With the Gala fastly approaching, the group figured it was time to get all of their affairs in order. Mostly, it was just them wanting to go shopping and find pretty things to wear for the fancy party. For the most part, it's been a while since they've really had anything to celebrate, and with this party come up right around Winter's Crest for them, it seemed all too appropriate.
Pike gathers those who want to come around, itching to get started. "So, where should we start first?"

Shopping.
(No doubt, somewhere deep in sleep, Grog is twitching in horror at the thought of it all.)
So when Pike asks, Vex at least is all in, and not about to waste time. "We want to look good, so we'll want to go to the upper quarters and check the markets. Get an idea for what they see as 'in' and work our way from there."

His last Winter Crest had been in Whitestone, with Keyleth and Percy and Vex. It'd been quiet, it'd been nice, and now they were dealing with...whatever they wanted to call this. So when Pike mentions shopping, and Vex and Keyleth light up at the idea, he's not going to comment.
Instead, he will follow along - eyes to the crowds out of habit and little else. "And then find it somewhere else for cheaper?"

"And then go back to the first merchant to use that as leverage." He knows the game, even if he's still not very good at it, too used to being too rich to care.
