[There's another nod from Claire, one of understanding. She thought Jamie was dead for so long. Finding out he was alive had been exhilarating--and terrifying.]

I lost two decades with the man I love. And... God knows how long until I have him back again here. [Stasis doesn't count as being together. She can talk at him, but she doubts he can hear her, just like those little birds in Boston never heard her from the other side of the glass window.]

There are so many ways to capture memory here. I think we need to take advantage of this crazy world's technology where we can.

The technology, or generally speaking? [She laughs a little.] Even in the 60s, the technology was no match for some of what we've seen there.

God forbid you have to deal with something worse than the epidemic, but if you did, I'm sure having certain tools at your disposal doesn't hurt.
