[ it is nice and that's come as somewhat of a surprise to nightingale. even before the loss of the entire world, he'd been — somewhat reserved, to put it mildly. peter's apprenticeship has done a great deal to pull him out of the folly and his somewhat self-imposed exile, but even so, the weight of loss is not something easily shaken.

[ Reign truly was, even if those people were still in stasis. At least it meant that they will one day wake. He couldn't imagine what it would feel like if he couldn't find the people he was looking for.
