If you came to learn:

[Today's teacher (yes, the teacher is a Japanese teenager) can be found sitting on a bench in the gardens. It may take her a moment to notice someone else is there, but she makes up for it once she does jumping up to greet her potential student.]

Hi! Did you come to learn magic today?




If you came to laugh:

[While no one was around to teach, Akko had decided to practice her own stubborn spells. She had just started to get the hang of making her broom fly when… well, everything happened. There were only two choices as far as she was concerned: she could be sad about the end of the world (and she was!) or she could keep on moving forward.

In true Akko form, she was going to keep pushing herself until she got it right. That way, when Professor Ursula woke up (and Akko just knew she would one day!) she could show her how much better she'd become.

So, there's a witch, and a wand, and a broom in the gardens. However, none of them are doing much flying. It looks like she's back at square one for the moment as she continues to straddle the broom.]

Tia Freyre. [Nothing.]

Tia Freyre. [Still nothing.]

Oh come on! Tia Freyre!

Hey! That hurts.

[He should be happy she's holding back from biting him even if she should have expected the poking.]

You should be impressed. It took me a long time to get this one right. [Not that she planned on admitting that but there it is.]

[ Nah, he's just going to keep prodding at her because he does what he wants. ]

Okay. What other sorts of animals can you turn into? I want to see it. Something like an insect, or a more complex mammal like an ape, perhaps?

[ Yes, entertain him at once, tiny girl. ]

[Fine. If he wants to see something else...]

Metamorphie Faciesse.

[He's going to find himself squished under the cutest little elephant ever.]

I can do all kinds of animals.

[Is she laughing at him? Oh yes, she is.]

[insist]

[ And Rohan makes a strangled noise, as he's crushed under the weight of a baby elephant. ] Hrnk!!

[ He has to struggle a little to pull his face out from where it's planted onto the grass. He also, probably, ate a bit of grass, and that's just the worst. ] What are you doing -- Did I say you could do that?! Get off me, brat, you're crushing me!

[ Please don't bully squidward. Even if he deserves it. ]

[Unlike some, Akko can remember her manners when she wants to. A moment after making sure he'll think twice about picking on a poor little mouse again, she transforms back to herself.]

You did say you wanted to see something bigger.

[insist]

You could have told me first! [ He's still a little achey from being squished but he's otherwise fine. Anyway, it's not the pain, but the principle that ruffles his feathers. How dare she prank him! If she were around his age he would be retaliating immediately. Since she looks young he will give her ... a chance though, so all she gets in a lot of unimpressed glaring. ]

If you know what's good for you, you'll think twice before pulling that again. [ Imagine that in like, cartoon villain voice. Rohan dusts himself off. ] So, how come you can do these tricks? How did you learn?

[araearyrha]

[Oooooooh scary... Not.]

I'm a witch. I was still in school though, so I don't know everything, but I don't plan on letting that stop me from becoming the best witch ever.

[insist]

[ Ok, sure, whatever, he doesn't care about her shonen dreams. ]

Is magic something that anyone can learn?

[araearyrha]

[Excuse you, that's shoujo dreams. Never forget, a believing heart is your magic!]

Everyone has the possibility. Or rather they did, some don't now. But then a lot of people didn't know about magic being real in the first place, so they don't know that they lost the ability.
