[ It takes her at least two hours to find the house after ending up on the other side of Olympia and caught up in other things, which means she's a little out of breath by the time she makes it there. Opening it up isn't too difficult, though it doesn't seem like anyone else is there at the moment.
It's weird to see that it splits off into two bedrooms, but given what the sticker said about housemates, she can only gather that someone will join her there soon. It means that in the meantime she'll claim the room with the better bed (aka the one without bunk beds) and extra pillows. There isn't much to show that just yet, which is why she just takes off her boots and puts them by the side of the bed.
It's when she's about to head back out that she hears the door opening and closing. ]
I'll be out in a sec!
[ Though it's more that she's steeling herself to be ready for the worst. ]
★ two
[ The one thing Athena loves, alongside food and being a menace (apparently) are naps. It's why around mid-afternoon on the second day she's sprawled out across the couch to have a little siesta. She should probably be out looking for work or something else, yet here she is instead... taking up the entire couch and also...........
drooling on it. ]
✌ Wildcard me
[ Or anything else we can think of tbh... ]

I'll be in the kitchen, putting things away.

Prosecutor Edgeworth?!
[ It isn't something she expected, that's for sure. ]

[Miles was in the kitchen, on his knees putting cans away in one of the cupboards. His signature jacket hung off a chair, it was too hot for it anyway. He then got up and folded the paper bag and placed it in a drawer.]
Oh. Ms. Cykes. I suppose you are my new housemate then?
[Brushing the dust off his knees, he looked over thoughtfully.]
Hmm...However, it would be strange for you to address me as such in such a casual setting. Especially if we are going to be residing together.
You are welcome to address me as Miles if you like.

A daily life kind of routine. ]
I guess so?
[ Well he's here putting food away, and his sticker probably says this number if he came in here. It'd be weird if that wasn't the case. The rest is even stranger to imagine though, because even with Phoenix she still calls him Boss or Mr. Wright. ]
Hmm... [ She pauses, touching her earring in thought. Maybe it won't be that weird? ] Miles. [ She tries the word once, then again but quieter, repeating it as though she's trying to get used to the sound. ] Miles... Miles... [ She even uses different intonations. ]
It's still weird!

Hello -- I'm sorry to disturb you, I hope I'm in the right place.
[It sounds like a young woman.]
Is this house 69?
no subject
The one and only. Does that mean you're living here too?
[ It's the only assumption she can make given that he's asking for this place. ]
no subject
Oh, what a relief. I managed to find my way here, but I was afraid I walked into the wrong house.
[anyway!!] I'm Matt. I tend to keep to myself, so I wouldn't bother you too much.
[in case she feels awkward with living with a grownass man.... it's not like their house is full of men]
no subject
They don't have braille here? [ Maybe it's just something of other worlds, maybe people here don't tend to be blind? It's hard to say. ] Besides, you don't have to worry about that. I'm Athena Cykes, at your service! [ Granted helping people in need didn't usually come in this kind of situation, but... ]
Have you met anyone else who is living here yet?

[After much searching, Miles was fairly sure of the house that he was currently opening the door to was the correct one. He made his way through the small living area and scoped out the kitchen as well. It was certainly very different than the high standard of living he was already accustomed to. He was a refugee now and not the Chief prosecutor from a well off family.
This was going to take some adjustment.
However, at least the place had a proper shower and hot water. That was better than what he had to deal with in Khura'in. He placed his meager belongings on the floor in the living room and relaxed on the couch. He wondered how many of them would be sharing this tiny space. They had mentioned something about housemates after all.
Didn't tenements exist that had 10+ people residing in them? He hoped that wasn't the case. The only person he ever resided with was his sister and his dog.
He turned around as he heard a door open somewhere.]
Hello?
Two
[It wasn't that Miles wasn't used to ever cooking for himself. It was that most of the time it was easier to have his housekeeper take care of it or to order out. In this case, he had neither the money nor the hired help.
Poor little rich boy.
He fumbled around in the small kitchen, probably the smallest one he has ever had to live in, first smacking his head on one of the cabinets, then knocking over the tomato sauce he was preparing effectively ruining his shirt.
Then to top it all off the room filled up with smoke from the sausages he had successfully burnt.]
Scheisse!!
[He may need a teeny bit of help.]

[So he has to make do with what he has]
Ah-- hello? I'm not sure I'm in the right place, which house is this?
no subject
This is house sixty-nine. Which house were you looking for?

[What a happy coincidence! The blind man somehow found his way here. Tapping the floor with his cane, he slowly follows Edgeworth's voice]
So, I'm assuming you're one of my roommates. Or a very confused deliveryman.
[He's just trying to break the ice a little with humor]
no subject
[Good god was he bad at small talk.]
Do you have your things? I believe we only have two rooms here and the other person is currently occupied by a young lady. I suppose it would be best if you shared with me.
I'm Miles Edgeworth. A pleasure to make your acquaintance...
[Was he doing this right? He was going to have to reside with a stranger and that made him a bit uncomfortable. He had never had to share such close quarters before.]

[Thankfully Phoenix didn't take too long finding his way over to the apartment. It helped, at least, that there seemed to be more than an ample supply of fellow refugees wandering this part of the city that were willing to help. But walking through the door only to face a such a small and cramped apartment only gave him war flashbacks to the time he was living in his office back home.
Yep, this... This was pretty much the exact same thing wasn't it?]
Hello!? Anyone here yet?
[It was worth a shot, just to make sure he wasn't all alone right? Otherwise just making himself comfortable would be awkward.]
<< *o*)==o- <<!2!>> -o==(*o* >>
[Phoenix loved making food and taking naps as much as the next guy, but hey, this was a new apartment! And new apartment things needed to be done before anyone settled in! Places needed to be made cozy and comfortable and home-like. This shamble of an apartment they all lived in was good for sleep at the moment, but that was just it.
So what did he run off to get with what little ability he had in begging and borrowing?
Cleaning supplies of course! Forcing the front door open with absolute enthusiasm he seemed to already be decked out in a white apron and face mask, in his hands buckets filled with various cleaning supplies and tools. Just how many people did he bribe to get all this stuff?]
All right. Who's ready to get this place looking like a real apartment!
[This attorney is hyped and filled with vigor and by god he will get this place looking good!]
<< *o*)==o- <<!WILDCARD!>> -o==(*o* >>
((OOC: You guys know the drill! You have a starter or something unique you want to thread out? Fell free to put it here!))
Are those Phoenix objecting?
Phoenix? Is that you?
[His own voice carried from the larger of the two bedrooms. If Phoenix were to peek in he would see Miles already had claimed his bed. It was the top bunk of the bunk bed. He had already changed into his pajamas and was reading a book on Olympian culture, that someone was kind enough to lend him.]
Welcome home, as small as it is.
They might be...
[Phoenix's expressions lit up almost immediately. There were more than a few hundred people that had come along during the trip down to El Nysa, and due to the chaos of everyone moving about Phoenix had gotten separated from the only two familiar faces he knew. But suddenly stepping into his newly designated 'home' only to find Miles here sent a wave of relief over him.]
You certainly found your way here fast.
[Faster than he did anyway.]
So you were assigned here too?
[Huh. Living with Miles. What was that going to be like? Hopefully their entire house didn't end up pink and frilly.]
no subject
I had a bit of help along the way. The streets are pretty clustered, aren't they?
[He put the book down and sat up, leaning against the headboard and his legs crossed over the blankets. A small smirk came against the corners of his lips.]
I do hope you don't make this room resemble your offices Phoenix. I doubt I can live like that.
[He will put so many cravats on everything. Just to spite him okay? Okay.]

[The majority of that stuff belonged to both Apollo and Trucy after all, and thankfully neither of them were here. He just had a hard time maintaining all of it. Apollo he could yell at well enough, but how could he say no to his own daughters mess, especially when it was all stored there for her work? (After all, her show was the firms main source of income.)]
But I'll do my best. I mean, as long as it's the two of us it should be fine I think. It looks a little cramped but it at least is a tolerable living space.
[Oh! Hey! That just hit him! Him and Miles were going to be rooming together! How cool was that? It's like they'd be dorming together, reforming the many cumulative years of friendship bonding that they missed out on! That was pretty cool.]
Have you looked around the place yet?
two.
She only has three seconds where her hand hovers in the air, glove almost touching the hologram, before she switches Widget off and makes a run for it. ]
Sorry! I've got a meeting with... with... someone!
[ Why must this always happen. ]
you will never escape toilet duty Athena
[Really now Athena. Trying to escape your adult responsibilities are you? Living on your own like this isn't all fun and games you know, and he is not going to be the one stuck cleaning up after all the rest of you.
Reaching out his arm he made an attempted grab at the collar of her jacket. His hands may have been full but that didn't stop his expert-level teen wrangling abilities.]
I don't expect miracles from you but I at least want to see some effort young lady. If we're all going to be living together we can at least keep this place from looking any more like a dilapidated wreck than it already does.
[Especially that bathroom.]
;n;
We already cleaned everything once...
[ Why is he such a maniac with the bathroom?? They aren't that dirty! ]

Well, I'll do what I can -- since you're so fired up about this.
[Phoenix can handle the toilet, though. Matt will figure out something else to do.] Just direct me on what needs to be done and I'll do my best.
No one escapes toilet duty Matt. Not even you.
[Truthfully, if it were either Miles or Athena he had burst in on he would not have held back. But this was Matt, the guy he only just met, as well as the guy he impulsively invited into his apartment before he knew so many people would be living in it. So if anything he felt kind of bad, putting him to work when it was he himself that put him into this situation.
Also, he was blind. How would the blind guy know he was done cleaning something? It's not like he could see that he managed to scrub off that spot on the wall.]
Um, I mean, are you sure? It's not mandatory. I just thought a little sprucing up would do this tiny place some good.
why must Matt suffer
No, it would be rude of me not to help after you invited me into your home. [the challenge will be actually being useful..... or so it seems] And I agree with you. It's a new place, so we should tidy it up.
Welcome To Attorney House Matt. it's a right of passage.
weeps tenderly.
