What: Yona meets some people and takes a dog for a walk. (Spoilers: the dog is a demon.)

[Being allowed to wander around on her own is still taking some getting used to.
Yona doesn't live in a castle anymore, and she can come and go as she pleases - provided that Hak and Jae-Ha don't catch her getting up to mischief, anyway. There's something almost exhilarating about the freedom, but it leaves her a little anxious, too - what if she does get in over her head?
But she'll never figure anything out if she sits around at home all day, so into town she goes.
The theater and market districts are what catch her eye the most, and you might run into her examining jewelry and clothes at the market, or admiring the performers near the theater.]

[Regardless of where you do find her, though, she's bright-eyed and excited. This is all so cool.
...but, uh, she's also a sitting duck for pickpockets, so maybe someone better stop her from making eyes at all the pretty clothes and pretty people before she winds up in some kind of trouble. Or, you know, tell her to stop staring at them, if they're the object of her attention at this time.]
open 2.0 - thesa station;
[Honestly, it was only a matter of time before she came back up here.
She's among the stasis pods again, seeking certain familiar people. She remembers seeing Soo-won asleep in one of these pods, so she knows he's safe here somewhere, but she'd feel a little better about things if she could see her father's face, too.
So as the hours tick by, she wanders the pods, carefully examining the people who are still asleep. It's not unlikely that she'll get distracted, though - you might find her gazing longingly at Soo-won's face if she stumbles upon his pod again, or find her looking curiously at an assortment of interesting-looking people that she doesn't seem to recognize, or even find her lingering someone you recognize (especially if your castmate is attractive, because she likes pretty faces).]
...they really saved a lot of people, didn't they...

[So, back on Olympia. The weather's not too bad today, which is probably a good thing, because it's hard to walk a dog in the rain. And Yona sure has found a dog somewhere, and she sure has, uh, adopted it.
I'm so sorry to everyone involved in this.
Anyway, they're out for a walk, and she's debating heading to the market district to look for more ribbons to tie around his neck. This is what she's spending Hak's hard-earned silver on, isn't it...]
What do you think, boy? Do you like blue or green better? ...bark once for blue and twice for green!
[Can he even see color? She doesn't know.
Anyway, they're bound to run into someone she knows eventually, but for now she's just enjoying the nice day and occasionally crouching down to give Mephisto a pet or two because he's just too cute in this form (and also she doesn't know he's not a real dog).]

It's late, they've both tuckered themselves out wandering around, and now they're back at Yona's place. It's late and she's a little tired, but there's always time for snuggling with a dog, so she's petting him and -

[Yona doesn't hesitate for even a moment before taking his hand - when he offers it, she grabs it. Her touch is light and gentle, but solid enough that she probably won't lose her grip if they do suddenly vanish and appear somewhere else.]

[She eyes the edge warily. On the one hand, flying sounds really cool. And he's a magician, so it will probably be alright, but... that's a really high drop, if anything goes wrong.

So she nods, and her grip on his hand tightens as she steps closer to the edge. She's worried, but she's making the monumentally unsound decision to trust him, so she's pushing past the fear of heights and just going for it.]
...on the count of three, okay? One, two... three!
[so on a scale of 1 to 10 how badly is this gonna go]

[Okay, they only actually "fall" for about a second, no more than ten feet or so -- but that sensation of suddenly free-falling as the ground quickly becomes significantly closer is pretty terrifying no matter how brief.]
[But then they slow to a stop. And they float, standing in mid-air and gently descending down to the ground.]
[Now, just how freaked out does Yona look--]

Because they might be in very real danger of rupturing, given the earsplitting shriek Yona lets out as they free-fall. It's not what she was expecting at all, and though he does catch them, she's still freaked out enough to be furious.
She balls her free hand into a fist, then tries to smack his shoulder to distract from the tears at the corners of her eyes.]

[He's making a pretty big gamble on just how much fun he can have with this girl here, because his next move isn't going to be pleasant.]
[With a suddenly poof of smoke, Mephisto disappears! And in his place... is the dog.]
[His eyes widen as he startles, shaking out of Yona's grasp -- and then free-falling down to the ground with an almost comical wail. Yona, however, will continue a slow decent to the ground regardless -- as if the "spell" he cast on her was powerful enough to continue without his influence.]
[Thankfully, there won't be a puppy-shaped crater waiting for her once she reaches the ground -- but she will find the little pup standing in front of a watering trough for horses on the edge of the road, thoroughly soaked and looking very disgruntled.]

Yona's eyes go wide at the way his voice cuts off, at the sudden puff of smoke, and she waves a hand in front of her to try and dispel it - but she's not fast enough to reach out and grab the man-turned-dog, and he goes tumbling down faster than she does.
When she does finally touch the ground, she hurries to the watering trough, her expression equal parts baffled and concerned.]
Did— did I really hit you hard enough to turn you back into a dog?! [HOW. WHY.] I'm so sorry...!

A moment after the thought crosses her mind, she feels guilty. Okay, no, that was not a good thought, and if she thinks it again, she ought to ignore it. She crouches down so that she can try and smooth out his fur, even though he smells gross, like a wet dog.]

[He settles down on the ground, resting his chin on the top of his paws, ears sagging down -- looking like the saddest puppy who ever lived.]
It's rather shameful for me, you know. To be seen like this... perhaps that's why I lost myself before. I was too embarrassed to speak with anyone, and soon forgot how to talk all together. I wonder if the same will happen again...

Against her better judgment, she gathers him up into her arms and pulls him into her lap. It means her skirt is going to smell like wet dog until she cleans it - or rather, bullies someone into doing her laundry - but she's not a heartless monster! She can't just let a sad puppy keep being a sad puppy.]
We'll find a way to turn you back, I promise! [But she's not kissing the top of his head until he dries off, that's gross.] Between now and then, just make sure you talk to me a lot. I don't want you to forget again.

Ahah... of course, you have every right to be mad. But... thank you. Perhaps in time, I'll be able to figure out what it is that triggered that initial transformation. It could be there's simply much more to this curse than I realized.

Maybe it was because we went for a walk earlier? You might have been so worn out that you temporarily turned back into your real self so your dog body could get some rest.
