Who: Bellamy Blake (

What: Catch all for the event
When: October
Where: All over
Warning(s): Will warn as needed!

[The morning of the blast, Bellamy is on the outskirts of the market. It’s Unity Day, which is a strange thing to think about, trapped on another planet, but he can’t get it out of his head. He’s picking over the fruit at a stall when the blast hits, and for the barest second, everything seems to stop. Then there’s panic, shrieking and crying and chaos as people struggle to get away. Without thinking, Bellamy forces his way through the crowd in the opposite direction, heading towards the sound.
By the time he makes it to the market center, any hint of the purple smoke is gone. There’s not even any damage, no obvious injuries. There’s no way that wasn’t a bomb, so where are the casualties?
Bellamy stops whoever’s closest, reaching for their arm.]
What the hell happened?
ii
[Later, once things begin to settle, Bellamy does whatever he can to help, from dropping off supplies to escorting the sick back to the Sanctuary. He knows enough about plagues to wrap a cloth around his mouth and nose, but otherwise, he doesn’t look particularly afraid of contamination, guiding others by the elbow or slipping an arm around their shoulders.]

when she sees Bellamy, there is only the slightest flash of something like panic in her eyes, but it is quickly covered with a small smile. ]
Are you here to help the sick? I'm sure Lady Claire will be glad for the help.

I'm helping out wherever they need me. You okay, Sansa?

[ but he is too observant — and were this Westeros, she wouldn't hesitate even a second to lie about it all, why she is here, why he might have caught her looking concerned. but this is not Westeros, and Bellamy reminds her too much of her brothers. ]
... I am sure it is nothing serious. But my brothers worry, so I came here to appease them... but surely the maesters have more important things to do, more sick people to look after.
no subject
They want you to get checked out?
[It's a good idea, especially if she was in the market.]
This is their job. You aren't wasting anyone's time, trust me.
no subject
[ she realizes it may sound strange, but Jon has a good reason... a reason she agrees with. here, she is more vulnerable — and usually, in the marketplace, anywhere out in the open, having Ghost with her would do the trick. but here... no, she can't bring him there, not with the chance of making him sick, or scaring the patients. ]
But I hope it is over quickly, and I can return back.

that, and make sure all her friends are all right. it's the latter, not the former, that brings her to bellamy's place the morning after. ]
Bellamy? Are you there?
no subject
Hey.
[She doesn't look sick, which is a relief.]
Everything okay?
no subject
I'm glad you're all right.
[ he's not sick. if he doesn't move out of the way, a hug is happening in 3, 2, 1 ... ]
no subject
You too. You weren't near the explosion, right?

Bellamy has her arm as soon as she's emerged, startling her, the automatic reaction being to pull away until she realizes it's someone she knows ]
I- I have no idea, something went off but...
[ No carnage no charred earth or market stalls, no evidence of an explosion beyond what she heard moments ago. ]
no subject
[He doesn't see any damage, either, which somehow worries him more than if he was seeing debris and injured bystanders.]
[He lets go of her arm gently, scanning the street again.]
I was too far away to see anything.
no subject
All I was able to see was the oncoming wave of people fleeing, but...
[ The air feels heavy around them, thick with something that tastes bitter when she breathes in, and causing her to cough. ]
no subject
Cover your nose. We don't want to take any chances.

She's not in top form, but she manages. A slight stumble to her step but Bellamy finds a strong hand latching to his bicep as he attempts to go back out into that contaminated zone. ]
Hey.
[ She tugs back a bit firmer. ]
That's not safe — they're handing out friggin' gear for this. Don't be an idiot.
[ AKA, come rest? ]
I saw you zipping around, you've done enough.
no subject
I'm fine. I'll take a break later.
[In a few days, maybe. He caught that stumble, though, so it's time to be a hypocrite.]
You okay?
no subject
[ A bit firmer??? Sorry, she's a hypocrite. ]
Just peachy, trying to keep people from doing stupid shit. Warehouse has room and some food — let the city guard bumble around and do their job with clean up.
no subject
I don't take orders from you. And if the guard is bumbling, that's more reason not to let them handle this.

[ No time for formalities, Bel.
The Exile's hand moves to his shoulder, a soft but firm grasp attempting to hold him in place. ]
You seem too smart to rush in without knowing just what exploded, but just in case...
no subject
Anything else? You talk to anyone who was nearby when it went off?
no subject
[ She would know. ]
no subject
[Well, he can take a guess.]
Something to do with the Force?
[Mentally, Bellamy is still putting it down to magic.]

Hey. Everything alright?

she has been working non stop trying to do whatever she can to help, while occasionally checking her phone for any updates on the network or if any of her friends contact her. it takes her a moment to register that bellamy was here since she's a bit preoccupied, not to mention she looks fairly worn out but she smiles slightly when she sees him] Hey. It seems like there's still no improvement but you know, it's a work in progress while we're waiting for the cure— how are you holding up?
no subject
I'm fine.
[That's the usual response, but that brings him to why he's here—he sets the bag on the table next to her.]
Brought you something to eat. I'm guessing you haven't been stopping.
[He Knows.]
no subject
clarke knows that even without bellamy saying the words that he's just as frustrated as she that there has been no progress. his actual response is predictable too because while he might tell her that he's fine, it's yet another thing she knows is far from the truth but she's hardly one to talk right now either.
she watches as he sets the bag on the table before glancing back over to him, smiling slightly. she isn't surprised by the fact he did bring food for her and it is something she appreciates but she knows he probably hasn't stopped to eat either] Oh— yeah, you're right but I'm guessing you haven't either.
