Now let's skip to the part where Rhys gets locked out for hogging the loo. ]

[He hears. He's had to suffer hearing the entire time.]

[He still didn't care, it was just starting to annoy him.]

[ Finally, Rhys. Her mouth twists into a slight frown, but she accepts the wine all the same. She drank alone during her time on and since Five Points. Zevran isn't wrong about drinking with friends being better.

Are they friends? ]

Thanks. [ a beat. ] Did you steal this?

[His tone is either affronted or mock affronted:

Such a forward question, my lady!

[And he just keeps pouring the bluish-purple wine into mugs. That's neither a yes nor a no, and very pointedly so, but his smile pretty much confirms it. Still, not verbally admitting to anything here.

Rhys' and Abelas' drinks he just sets on what passes for a coffee table and sits back with his own mug. This is going to be the classiest party.]

[ For the record these clothes are entirely unflattering and not nearly expensive enough for him to be wearing in public?? So this is a super-special occasion he hopes no one talks about like, ever.





On the plus side Rhys...looks incredibly normal with them on? Especially since his hair hasn't yet been styled or slicked back. Rather that a snazzy jerk he looks like he could be...anyone in the crowd, really. Don't be too surprised and swoon here Jyn he knows he's a looker but control yourself.



Hes also not going to say anything and just drop himself down on either the opposite end of the couch...or a separate chair entirely. SULKING. ]

[ She cradles her mug close, giving Zevran a pointed look over the rim. ]

I'm hardly a lady.

[ Still, his remark earns an amused twitch of her mouth, mostly obscured by the mug. Two thieves in one house, hm? Double trouble.

The other separate chair's definitely Abelas', so welcome to Jyn's couch™. Be glad that she's tiny and willing to share on this traumatic day, roboboy. All he gets is a sideways smile, definitely brought on by how disheveled he looks, before she returns focus to her wine. Just sippin' in peace. Playing nice — ]

You look cozy, Rhys.

[ — yeeeep, there it is. ]

[Aside from the metal arm, yeah, pretty normal. So it's amusing to see him in it, knowing that his hair is probably going to dry that way.

Leaning forward he hands off the third mug toward Rhys with a nod.]

Don't forget to mind the gap.

[He is, of course, referring to the way that the robes wrap around the body. Being a smaller one, Rhys has less leeway than normal before gapping occurs. Sit like a lady, dear.]

I would like to just state for the record: you all suck.

[ ESPECIALLY YOU, ABELAS. And Rhys will mind the gap thank-you-very much!! Not because he's a lady but because he is a professional businessman who does not sit with spread legs and flash people unlike some egocentric megalomaniacs, Jack.

He will take the mug though. Being a sourpuss does not mean he has to refuse a free drink. ]

[And guess who decided to emerge just in time to catch that last bit of conversation.

This guy.

Who managed to bathe and dress himself in the span of about ten minutes. Though he comes out with his armor in hand rather than wearing it, because unlike some people he's considerate enough to realize other people might require the restroom within the hour.

Unaware he has free wine waiting for him, he takes a seat a comfortable distance away from the pack of shemlens, and starts strapping on the armor. And as for Rhy's comment...]

Do not be vulgar, tis unbecoming.

[insurgent]

[ At Rhys' insult, she makes a noise of acknowledgment. As far as she's concerned, her eyes also fell victim to Abelas asserting his dominance, but whatever. Before Rhys can retort, she tips her chin up to Abelas, equally inviting and challenging. ]

Join us for a drink, Abelas.

[ WE'RE GONNA BOND. ]

[Heck yes, bonding. They will bond if it kills them. It might kill a couple of them.

Abelas' mug he nudges toward the correct side of the table, being that he's too far to actually hand the mug off, and also because it's up to him whether or not he participates. And then he rolls the liquid around the inside of his own cup, takes a sip, and then hums. Not too bad.]

You're...unbecoming. So.

[ Rhys flounders a little, and settles for crossing his arms over his chest in a huff. ]

There.

[ Nailed it. He definitely didn't sound loserly there. ]

[He'd address the invitation in a moment, first he had to give Rhys a very disapproving look, just to make certain he was aware that he was being judged... and then keep it on him long enough to make him uncomfortable.

Alright, now onto more important matters, such as the drink. He considers it for a time, then gets up and pulls up a seat for himself, accepting the drink. He even gives Zevran a nod in thanks.]

[ She cradles her mug of wine close with both hands, looking at the liquid for a long moment before breaking the silence. ]

Is this where we attempt to get to know each other? [ They'll be living together for a considerable amount of time, at least. Her mouth quirks, not quite a smile. ] Like in the game on the network.

[ She is, in fact, referring to Lance's birthday post where everyone played "Never Have I Ever." ]

We could, though I admit I'm still not entirely clear on the rules of that one.

[He's been wandering for the past few days--this won't last, and they'll have to find other accommodations eventually. Best to start looking now. Incidentally, that's also how he "found" the wine.]

[ Yep, that stare sure is uncomfortable. Rhys is glad for the very abrupt change in topic and turns his attention from Abelas to Jyn and Zevran. ]

Wait, you mean that "never have I ever" one? From a few days ago?

[Abelas reclines in his seat, draping his arm over the back of his chair. Drinking wine from a mug was a special new low, but it was wine. Been litteral ages since he had any. He wasn't going to complain.

He didn't answer for now, the other elf had already inquired about it, and if he hadn't heard of it there was no chance Abelas would himself. He was willing to listen though.]

[insurgent]

[ to Rhys, a little more enthusiastic than she normally is about, well, anything: ] Yes, that one!

I'd like to know who I'm sharing a residence with.

[ short time or not, she needs to know if you're going to kill her in her sleep. ]

JUST BC ZEVRAN ASKED FOR THE RULES

[ ...Well, Rhys isn't usually one for drinking or party games like that (not since that one Torgue kegger), but if it's something that Jyn actually sounds into Rhys can't exactly just party pooper it up even with his sour mood. She's rarely into...anything, from his experience.

So Rhys uncrosses his arms and turns to Zevran to quickly explain. ]

We take turns saying things we've never done before. If you've done whatever it is they haven't, you take a drink. It's a good way to get pretty out of it, really fast. Buuuut yeah, it'll also do the "getting to know one another" thing too.

[agradecido]

[He's in the middle of a sip when Rhys starts talking, and by the end of it, he's got one eyebrow raised, silent for a moment. He looks down at the dark bottle, up at Rhys, then down into his cup. He smirks.]

I think we're going to need more wine.

[Why yes, he did imply he's more experienced than you.]

I'm not opposed, however. Who's starting?

[He takes a moment to consider participating. It was a foolish trivial thing, but Jyn seemed pleased about it, and there was likely some amusement to be had from it.]

I feel I am at a disadvantage simply for the pool of my years, but very well. I shall participate.

[And he waves his hand to dismiss being the one to start.]

[insurgent]

[ A smile spreads across her face, small but warm. For a moment, she regards each man in turn, as if to asses how best to begin the game. She can't remember the last time she indulged in something like this.

Start small. Start easy. ]

Never have I ever used magic. [ She looks to Rhys, canting her head. ] Right?

[ Did she do it right? ]

Yep.

[ Oh, Jyn. There are no words for how much he approves of that opener, mouth quirking into a pleased smirk as he crosses his arms around his drink and doesn't sip.

His world ain't got magiccccc. ]

"Used" as in cast, or does an enchanted weapon count?

[Either way, he's abstaining.]

[He let out a sigh and gave Jyn a look. That was directed at him. He knew it. But he's a good sport and tips back his wine glass. He supposed it was his turn to ask this lot something.

He just had to... think of something he hadn't done in his past that wasn't oddly specific. Oh. He knew what to do.]

I suppose it is my turn then. Never have I ever spent more than an hour in the bathroom preening myself.

[He's looking at you Rys.]

[ Abelas u fucker. Rhys sends him a Look for that but makes a show of staring at the elf as he takes a drink--but not without first saying: ]

You know there is nothing wrong with looking after yourself or your appearance, for the record!
