cadderly, on the other hand, does not know what a fridge is, or any of the other appliances in the kitchen that he's staring at in complete baffled wonderment. he finally blinks back to himself when the other man speaks=-

Huh? Oh.. I know not, though I doubt we would be sent here and be expected to resort to villainy for survival.

[ Buffy's squinting at the accommodations. It's not much better or worse than her place in LA was. Just different. And just something she didn't choose. She's wearing her name badge still — Hello, my name is Buffy! My hobbies are slaying, shopping, and eating! What are yours?, but she does put some effort into fraying the edges now that she's home.

[ At job Remus lifts a finger to his mouth, then tilts it toward the girl, with a face that says there's an idea. Having something to eat in the meantime would be nice, as looking for work on an empty stomach isn't one of his hobbies, personally—he's done it quite a lot, just never for fun—and he has minimal experience with becoming part of society, but it is still overall a better idea than theft. ]
