OPEN & CATCH ALL
Who: Elliot Nightray (
yelliot) & YOU
What: Elliot being dumb around Olympia...
When: Throughout January
Where: Various locations throughout Olympia
Warning(s): N/A Will update if necessary?
UNSTOCKED MARKET
[All Elliot wanted was a carton of eggs. Not even a dozen, just half would've done. But there aren't any that he can find. For some reason they're entirely sold out, regardless of which stall he goes to, which only leaves him feeling frustrated, if not a little dejected. The thing about Olympia is that it's a lot more organized than Wyver (at least in his opinion) and there are a lot of things in the market Elliot's never really seen before. Especially in the fruit section.
The thing about being rich is that you really don't know where your food comes from most of the time, and there's one fruit in particular that has Elliot completely perplexed. He stands there, holding a pineapple, looking more than a little confused. It was so...weird?]
...Do people really eat these?
STRAYS
[He's really weak. Really, really weak.
To cats, that is.
This current, new furry friend is a stray gray cat with white paws that Elliot is currently infatuated with. So much so he's taken it upon himself to make sure no one is around him as he stands off to the side in an alleyway, crouched down to pet the friendly creature on the head. It's clear that for now nothing else matters other than the attention he's getting from this cat. He's totally blissed out even. Maybe you should let him be...
or tease him for it.]
You're so cute...do you have any friends?
TAVERN
[Somehow, Elliot had managed to strike a deal with the owner of a tavern not long ago. In exchange for performances on the establishment's piano he'd be allowed to stay there in one of the upstairs rooms. The same applied to Leo. He's just finished playing for the night and is more than a little tired, but he seems content enough to linger by the piano a little longer while patrons filter out of the tavern and toward the exit.
Maybe, just maybe, if you're polite enough and stick around he'll play you an encore.]
...Did you need something?

It isn't mine. If it was it'd be wearing a collar.
[Or a cute little bow. Either way, if he had a cat it wouldn't be out on the street! ]
As much as I'd like to keep it...I don't think I can right now.
no subject
[ Reign, that was quite some imagination you have there.
He tilted his head, utterly full of curiosity. ]
Why? I don't think we're restricted from keeping pets.
[ His friend, Atsushi, had a tiger cub. So he knew there were no rules against animals living together. ]
no subject
[Even if it's pretty friendly, all things considered.]
Keeping one now would be irresponsible. I don't have the means to yet.
no subject
Ah, better to suffer alone than to drag another along with you. Chances are the cat has a better life instead.
[ Something occurred to Reign, and he grinned at Elliot. ]
Say, have you figured out how to use the phone?
[ He remembered Elliot cursing high and low over the device. ]
no subject
[Sort of. Not entirely...but he managed to get a hang of the basics.]
I don't use it often.
no subject
[ Reign was kidding on that, chuckling with a grin. ]
So... you like cats, huh? Had one before?
no subject
They're...my favourite... [He grumbles out, begrudgingly.] But I was never able to have one.
no subject
A tilt of his head. ] Why not?
[ Elliot seemed more of an upper class citizen, judging by the quality and material of his clothes, but perhaps there was a valid reason behind that. But Reign's question was more curiosity than anything. ]
no subject
[Okay yeah, that's too much knowledge. This guy doesn't need to know that.]
Nevermind! It's not important!
no subject
His smile was a bit wry, giving Elliot a pat on the shoulder. ]
Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me.
[ With such a huge reaction from Elliot, Reign could tell just how important this issue was to the other. ]
Your siblings... Do they look similar to you? I mean, light brown hair and blue eyes. I wouldn't want to accidentally reveal it to them if they are here.
no subject
[Does it look like he cares Reign? Shrugging his shoulder at the pat he keeps them raised, lips twisted downward into a pout.]
I've five older brothers and one older sister. We look related but we don't look identical...two of my brothers are adopted as well. It doesn't matter. They're all asleep in those stupid machines anyway.
no subject
That makes things easier, then. I don't need to worry about running my mouth.
[ Not that Reign ever intended to. ]
no subject
[It's not an attractive trait, as far as Elliot's concerned.]
no subject
[ Teasing, teasing~~~ But Reign will cut it short, despite the grin on his face. ]
Anyway, you've found a place to stay, yes? Living alone? Or with friends?
no subject
[Yeah no thanks. Don't tease him unless you want a punch to the face???]
I'm living with my valet. It's none of your concern.
no subject
But Elliot was welcomed to spank him?But Reign just laughed it off.Nonetheless, the info came as a surprise. ]
Wow! You've got yourself a valet. Why, are you afraid I'll run my mouth again?
[ Reign honestly should stop teasing. Not only that, it seemed the cat was beginning to lose interest now that it wasn't receiving further attention from either of them. Whoops? ]
no subject
[Welcome to no chill. Standing up gives you better breath control, which is what Elliot feels he needs to yell. Unfortunately there goes his kitty friend. He's scared it away with his loud voice. Oops.]
no subject
Apologies, my Lord. I did not know of your lineage.
[ To be in the presence of a noble! Reign didn't think he would meet someone from his class. ]
Please rest assure that I will reveal nothing about your passion for cats.
[ Should he start calling him "Lord Elliot"? ]
no subject
[What an infuriating man. A weird man. With pointy teeth.]
Call me Elliot! It doesn't matter anymore what I am!
no subject
[ Reign didn't seem perturbed at all about Elliot's antics.
Grin grin. ]
Anyway, I think I should leave you to your own devices. I wouldn't wish to get a fist to my face the longer I stay here and talk.
[ Reign made to walk away, then stopped and turned back, pointing a finger at Elliot. ]
If you plan to go off after the cat, by all means, go ahead~
