[ While Clark's put up his message, he's also putting up a few flyers around town with the same basic content; while his focus is the refugee population, just for ease of communication, he's not opposed should any locals show any interest in helping. He obviously can't offer any money since it's not a business as of yet per se or anything but... if you see him, feel free to ask about it. ]

[ There are things Clark can't do, but there are also things he can do, things that he can't not do when it comes right down to it... and one of those things is look out for people. Especially people who are desperately trying to avoid a conflict.

Clark goes there first, asks what they need, and at first he uses some of the funds from his dragon bounty, what was still there. It's after Christmas, so it was a little more scant than he'd like, but he makes up for it by eating less, sitting in the sun more; he'll cook portions for Jessica the same as usual but he can make do himself. Eventually, he does have to ask for money, but he'll run into the city and bring back just about anything. He's also taken to spending the occasional afternoon out there, though, patrolling from the sky or ground to take care of any natural threats that might be stalking the smaller settlements just in case... ]

[ If you happen to come by their house, you'll find Clark at one of three activities: attempting to write something on the current Wyver-Olympia conflict, trying to figure out how he can better siphon some of his paycheck into supplies, cooking the occasional bit of food, and working from a particular book given to him for Christmas as a present, muttering to himself in a strange language that your character almost certainly isn't familiar with. ]

[ He takes his time savoring that kiss, letting out a low breath as she pulls away to talk. His hand stays settled against her comfortable, though. ]

Well, I'm all for fun sex.

Like using you as a floating buffet table? I have to admit, that was a particularly genius idea of mine.

[ He leans up just far enough to take his bite, sucking the morsel into his mouth with a mischievous little smile up at her before swallowing it down. ]

Feel like joining me on the naked side of things?

Is that an official request? For science?

It's an unofficial request. For language arts.

[ And now that there's no more food on him, he shifts in the air and settles back on a chair at the table, pulling her closer as he does to get a kiss.]

[That got a laugh out of her, and she leaned in as he kissed her, her arms going around his neck.]

You've still got sauce on you, Mr. Cunning Linguist.

[ He glances down at himself before reaching out to the table to grab a napkin. The sauce might not be entirely gone, but he manages to get most of it with the napkin.]

And whose fault is that, hmm? Or should I wash off in the tub?

Hell no. I plan on getting you a whole lot dirtier, farm boy.

[She kicked out of her boots, moving to draw her shirt up over her head and let it fall to the floor as she stepped in closer, taking the napkin from him and tossing it on the table.]

We got a whole kitchen here that'd look good on you.

[apricitous]

[ As soon as her shirt is gone, he reaches closer and behind her to press a kiss and undo her bra clasp with a grin over at her. ]

I don't know, I'm looking forward to seeing what things taste like with a bit of Jess on the side.

I'd say not as good as with you, but you seem to be unusually biased.

[She felt the clasp undo and shrugged out of the bra, her hands going down to her jeans to unbutton and unzip before she moved her hand to hold him, stroking down along the length of him again as she pressed herself in close and nibbled his lower lip.]

I am pretty used to tasting myself, I mean, my own lips are right there.

[ The words are spoken to answer her but his focus is on putting the bra aside, helping lift her up to make it easier for her to remove her pants, and then on what she was doing with her hands. ]

There is no version of any universe where that's true.

[She took her hand off him long enough to shimmy out of her jeans and underwear. Then she was touching him again, stepping in so his cock was trapped between their bodies as she gave one long stretch and rub against him.]

[ He doesn't answer, hissing through his teeth just a little at the sensation before looking back at her. He won't argue with her anymore, at least not with words. [Her hand moves up into his hair, holding him close as he makes a mess of her resolve with his mouth, as usual.]

[ His hands slip back, gripping her ass, pulling her against him in a soft grind.]

[She could be embarrassed later about the moan that slipped past her lips when he did that, her hand in his hair tightening as she felt her toes leave the ground. She never could stay grounded with him like this.]

[ He's going to pull her closer, get her properly in his lap to start paying attention go the little spot behind her ear. ]

[She squirms on his lap, head tipping to let him because there he went with that mouth again. Her hands touched him wherever she could; thigh, shoulder, hair, her body pressing against that hardness that had her clenching her thighs together.]
