- [For as much as he had been trying to keep the truth about his leg a secret, it didn’t take Jae-Ha long to start regularly soaring through the skies. He’s doing it now, using occasional rooftops as points to bounce up higher again, eyes scanning the ground for anyone suspicious or outright wanted.
That includes, of course, any fugitives.
Anyone might catch him soaring and dropping out of the sky behind those on that list of wanted fugitives, or digging around until he finds particular associates and tries to corner them, as well. Maybe you’re just there as he drops down to look for an associate of the shady man, or maybe you see him corner one right in front of you. Or, maybe you’re a fugitive yourself, and you weren’t expecting a man with green hair to drop out of the sky and land behind you.]
Hey there! [Especially with such a friendly greeting.]
B.
- [When he’s not actively chasing down leads, Jae-Ha can be found anywhere. Bars, the streets, flirting with women, shopping at the market… It’s easy to find his leads when surrounded by people, he finds. Today, he’s managed to rent an erhu (or something like it) and is performing a melancholy sounding song on the streets of Olympia.
He might look relaxed, eyes closing from time to time to feel the music, but whether people are donating to him to pay off this rental or not, he’s keeping his ears open for any information. If anyone lingers long enough, he’ll speak up, just wondering if he’s been caught or if the person just happens to be a fan.]
Have I captured your interest?
C. (WILDCARD)
- [And of course, Jae-Ha will be all over the place getting into everything, so I’m down for any scenarios anyone wants to set up! If you’d like to work something out like a personalized prompt, please hit me up via PM or

CLOSED TO PROMPTO
[Hopefully Prompto doesn’t mind that Jae-Ha has them on a rooftop again. Things are a little less surprising this time, with Jae-Ha crouched on his own beside Prompto and viewing the crowds below. He’d gotten a lead, and managing to run into Prompto was a nice coincidence. Not knowing what was meant by the description of this man’s powers was enough to make him want backup. He doesn’t like to take risks.]
The problem is, there are too many people here that would risk being hurt if there was a fight, so we’ll have to lure them away. [He smiles over to Prompto.]
How’s your acting?
no subject
Which means rooting out the responsible parties and finding answers that will lead them to a cure.
He looks up at Jae-Ha, a weary yet earnest grin on his face. ]
Depends on the part, but...if you need someone to be an idiot, I'm your guy!
[ It comes quite naturally to him. ]
no subject
You'll be able to see me as the signal, and I should catch up with him well enough to keep him cornered.
[A rough idea... without knowing what the guy looks like aside from a tattoo, or what powers he might have. It's risky, but waiting for more info could just give someone this sneaky time to get away.] What do you think?

CLOSED TO YUSUKE
But as Jae-Ha takes a step forward, the man stumbles up from his knee, holding his palms out and shooting gusts of wind at the both of them. They’re strong enough that Jae-Ha skids back a little, holding up his arm to block it, and as he looks over to check on how Yusuke handled it, he sees him looking a little too pale.]
Hey— [It’s either chase after the guy climbing the fence at the end of this alley, or help a buddy, and so of course Jae-Ha jumps over just in time to catch Yusuke in his arms.] Yusuke?!
[He’d thought something was off for the duration of the fight, but he didn’t think it was this bad!!]
no subject
Until finally, he doesn't, tipping and stumbling dizzily for a few steps, just about to topple over facefirst before Jae-Ha manages to catch him. ]
What...? [ He blinks stupidly there for a second, vision coming back enough that the asshole they're chasing after is visible as a vague blob, scaling the fence to certain freedom. And he definitely has the energy left to scowl. ] What are you—halt!
[ Yusuke's Persona forms in the shimmer of blue flame above them, followed by a burst of magic, a shock of blue ice suddenly blasting up by the fence—and totally missing its mark, blind and wildly shot, frosting over the side of a building instead. The criminal looks startled, though. He turns his attention to Jae-Ha, urgent. ]
He's getting away, we need to give chase— [ He stifles a cough, pushing himself up off Jae-Ha's shoulder. At the very least, he should be able to leap after him—Yusuke's seen what he can do. ]
no subject
You're ill! [He's not going to give chase and leave Yusuke here, or give chase and expect Yusuke to follow, or carry him and give chase— there are no good options combining the two! So instead, he'll reach, first supporting Yusuke before actually trying to scoop him up and into his arms.]
Were you around someone who has that illness? You're in no condition to chase someone like this; you need care!

CLOSED TO MAI
But that’s no different than any of the men. If she was in on this, and she clearly seemed to be, retaliating like this, then he couldn’t hold back.
The fighting takes to the sky again, but Jae-Ha still can’t react in midair. He’s caught up to and thrown, this time straight into whatever isolated area Mai might be walking through at the time. Maybe she was following the same lead?
At the very least, Jae-Ha’s yell comes as a warning.]
no subject
The lead had taken her here and seemed cold until the moment Jae-Ha comes shooting out of the sky like a rock. It's a quick step or more back that manages to keep her from being his landing cushion and she stands a brief moment in a fighting posture peering at him before she glances skyward from where he came.
... Is that a woman up there? The lead had said something about a woman with very few other details. Mai cocks up a brow and glances back to Jae-Ha where he lays.]
She's not too happy with you, huh.
[There's an understatement.]
no subject
[He pushes himself up from the ground, scuffed and bruised as he lets out a cough and a wince. Oh, there's a beautiful girl here?]
Doesn't look like it.
[But as he shifts to glance up and check on where she is, he finds that she's shooting down like her own rocket. He scrambles to his feet, taking a defensive stance.] Watch out!
[She collides with Jae-Ha, who uses his leg as a shield and knocks her back into a wall. From there, the M can be seen on her bare wrist.]

CLOSED TO MEPHISTO
He drops out of the sky on the man in a shady looking area, smirking confidently.]
There you are. You’re a little difficult to follow, but no one can run from me for too long. I— [Ah, but his cool moment is ruined as his vision slides over and shows that Mephisto is existing in this same space. How dare he??]
What are you doing here?
no subject
[Likewise, Mephisto has been watching this guy for a few days to try and tell if he was the so-called Shady Man or not. He didn't have quite as much interest in his associates, but without solid information on who this guy was or what he was capable of, it was necessary to follow every lead.]
[Perhaps a bit curiously, the man looked to be terrified before Jae-ha even dropped down -- even though Mephisto is simply standing there with his hands calmly folded behind his back.]
Hmm? My, I could very well ask you the same thing!
["T-Two of you!? That's... th-that's..." The man starts cowering backwards, not looking too intimidating... yet.]
Shall I leave this one to you, then? I'd certainly hate to steal your thunder after that grand entrance.
no subject
Were you struggling with this one on your own, Mephisto? [That's the only teasing he can think, turning to address the nervous man with another step forward.]
Let's not make this more difficult than necessary. You're lucky I've shown up, since I can make your surrender as beautiful as possible.

Enough to listen the entire way through, at least.]
Yes. [He answers honestly.] Four-four time with a simple melody. Uncomplicated yet still pleasant to listen to.
no subject
I'll take that as a compliment. [Pleasant to listen to, at least.] In music, it's more about the feeling than having complicated notes.
no subject
There is a sense of tranquility. [Is what he settles upon. The man in white lifts a hand to point at the string instrument Jae-Ha holds.] What is this instrument called?

B! Let's say early October.
But even with her mind so full from everything, the small blond can't help but stop when she hears the song carry through the busy streets. That sounds like Ionian music, even if she doesn't quite recognize the instrument this minstrel is playing.
Ah, but it looks like she's been noticed, so instead she just smiles, shrugging her shoulders slightly, head tilted to the side. ]
I guess you could say that!
[ Lux he caught you staring, don't try to play it off like you weren't. She takes a step closer, sizing up both Jae-Ha and his ehru ]
What is that instrument you're playing? I've never seen anything like it.
no subject
[He continues to play as he speaks, though it's much softer to allow their voices to rise over the volume of the strings.] I was surprised to find something like it here, so it may even have a different name in this place, but that's what I'd call it.
Are you a fan? It's fine, you can come closer.

a. i hope this is ok!
His latest mission had him use his own niece as bait. Thankfully, his niece is in stasis right now. He hasn't met anybody he actually knows from Remnant here, which means he's free to act however he pleases. In this case, while he should be following people to get information, he follows one green haired dragon. He flies close by in his bird form, but not close enough that it's obvious he's following Jae-ha.
Unless, of course, the man is observant enough to notice that there is, in fact, someone or some crow following him. ]

So it's in one of the tamer bars of the city that he finally arrives with cocktails, taking a seat alongside him rather than across so he can put his feet up.] All that's missing is your sweet music for a perfect scene. For when they write novels about your heroism, of course.
no subject
Novels, really? Haha, if you keep flattering me like that—
[But before he can finish his clear interest in that train of thought, the cocktail is set down in front of him, and he instantly blinks in surprise. He leans forward, hands gripping at the edge of the table as he admires the colors.]
What kind of drink is this? [He's fascinated! The colors are swirling, there's a cute little umbrella on the top that he's poking at, and the glass is even wonderfully crafted to a beautiful shape.] It's gorgeous!

Chuuya doesn't seem at all sympathetic to his plight. In fact, he struts over and kicks him with a heavy force, sending him rolling a few paces and grunting in pain. ]
Ready to talk yet? [ He looms over the guy and takes out his knife, holding it to the person's throat. ] Or should I take out your fingers until you do?
[ What he doesn't know is that he's only managed to catch a low level grunt, who doesn't actually know much of anything. ]
