January catch-all
Who: Clark Kent (
apricitous) & you!
What: Catch-All and some concern about the state of things
When: January
Where: largely Wyver
Warning(s): none so far
[ scouting for reporters | wyver | open]
[ While Clark's put up his message, he's also putting up a few flyers around town with the same basic content; while his focus is the refugee population, just for ease of communication, he's not opposed should any locals show any interest in helping. He obviously can't offer any money since it's not a business as of yet per se or anything but... if you see him, feel free to ask about it. ]
[deserters | outside of the city | open ]
[ There are things Clark can't do, but there are also things he can do, things that he can't not do when it comes right down to it... and one of those things is look out for people. Especially people who are desperately trying to avoid a conflict.
Clark goes there first, asks what they need, and at first he uses some of the funds from his dragon bounty, what was still there. It's after Christmas, so it was a little more scant than he'd like, but he makes up for it by eating less, sitting in the sun more; he'll cook portions for Jessica the same as usual but he can make do himself. Eventually, he does have to ask for money, but he'll run into the city and bring back just about anything. He's also taken to spending the occasional afternoon out there, though, patrolling from the sky or ground to take care of any natural threats that might be stalking the smaller settlements just in case... ]
[ home | wyver | open ]
[ If you happen to come by their house, you'll find Clark at one of three activities: attempting to write something on the current Wyver-Olympia conflict, trying to figure out how he can better siphon some of his paycheck into supplies, cooking the occasional bit of food, and working from a particular book given to him for Christmas as a present, muttering to himself in a strange language that your character almost certainly isn't familiar with. ]

[She moved her mouth to his ear, nipping at the lobe before she sucked it slowly, dragging her teeth over it while she got herself settled on his lap.]
Keep it up and I'm going to insist we get a ping pong table and abuse it.
and heading into NSFW land
[ Then he's leaning in to enjoy what she's doing, his eyes slipping closed and his hips unconsciously rolling underneath her. ]
But we're not getting a ping pong table to break it.
Pornoville. On the sex-train.
[That roll of his hips had her taking in a quick breath, her head drawing back to look down at him.]
You know what'd really be a tease? You with no shirt on.
no subject
That sounds like the opposite of teasing.
Also, the food is going to get here sometime soon.
no subject
And your meat stick.
[Yep. Still laughing over that.]
no subject
[ And he reaches down to start but- ]
...we're not calling it that.
no subject
And so does your meat stick.
[Yep. She was pushing it.]
no subject
It'd only be fair if that rule was enforced on both of us. And then it'd be very difficult to have guests.
no subject
[Her hands go down to the hem of his shirt, tugging at it to get him to lift it.]
You're like one of those sculptures, only better.
no subject
[ And he's a terrible softie so he's going to shift so she can tug his shirt off. Especially since she hasn't said the word meatstick for at least a tag. ]
no subject
[She got his shirt up, pulling it off and over his head, dropping it on the floor and letting her hands run down his chest. He was furry, but not overly so. Just enough that it tickled her palms when she touched him. It was more... male, somehow. She definitely did not have a problem with Clark being on the furry side.]
Mm... yep. Not getting anything done.
no subject
[ He's going to lean in for kisses now, because it's been far too long since he was kissing her. And he can talk while he's nibbling his way along her jaw and down her neck again; he needs something to keep him focused while his hands slip under her shirt. ]
Don't insult my roommate. She's stunning. Especially naked.
no subject
[She was a little embarrassed at how breathy that came out, her lids fluttering closed as she felt his hands slide up under her shirt, his lips trailing heat and shivers down along her neck. There was a flush creeping over her cheeks, but it was all from that heady neediness that came from sitting in his lap and having his attention on her.]
no subject
[ Nope, he's not letting that go, but he's not going to belabor his argument when pulse point needs to be sucked on just so and his hand has managed to shift aside part of her bra to start stroking at a nipple. Nothing she can't straighten up to go get the door. ]
no subject
[Her hips ground down against his, her hand curling in his hair as she let out another breathy sigh, nipples perking instantly at the touch, her body starting to shiver in that hot anticipation of--]
BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!
[She jumped, eyes wide as she stared up in the direction of the door.]
Shit. You just... shit. You stay here. Maybe lose the pants. I'll go... money. I need to go get money.
no subject
Settle down. Sure you don't want me to go get it?
I'm sure he can face my bare chest and walk away unscarred. I'll just grab some from the top of the 'fridge.
no subject
[She leaned in and stole a kiss with a quick press of her lips before pushing up and out of his lap. She stood there for a second, looking down at the half-naked man with the tousled hair and--]
BZZZZZZZZZT!
Oh my god! All right. Jesus fuck. I'm coming.
[She stomped off into her room, muttering about impatient delivery personnel and how people lost tips.
She stomped back over to the door, flushed and a little mussed up, silver coins in hand as she opened the door, stuck the money in the driver's face, then took the boxes with their food.]
no subject
I had figured you'd just put the money back in so you could 'pay' for it. Everything done or were there more boxes out there?
no subject
Then she realized he was talking and snapped back to the here and now.]
Ah... more boxes. A few. Just... you stay there. Just like that.
[She patted the tops of the boxes she'd set down and moved to go back to the door.]
no subject
Ma'am, yes ma'am.
[He is going to watch her with some amusement as she goes to get the rest of the boxes. Once she's out of sight, he'll start opening things up. Might as well get things laid out on the table, after all... ]
no subject
You know, I could get used to naked Clark at dinner. Though, you'd have to lose the boxers entirely.
no subject
I'll only consider it for dinners where we're dining alone together.
no subject
I don't see anyone else here.
[She did move to go get her bottle and glass, picking up his as well and bringing it back to the table. Refilling them both, she set his in front of him and went to sit in her chair, looking over the mess of food in front of them.]
Not bad. Pass me one of those stuffed fungus things.
no subject
I said I'd consider it. Maybe I'm keeping these on to keep us both focused on the food.
no subject
[She took one herself, popping it in her mouth and making a pleased sound before she washed it down with whiskey. She'd give Wyver this much; they had decent food. None of that processed shit she was used to back home. There was something about knowing that everything here was fresh, local, and didn't have tons of shit she couldn't even pronounce in it.]
